Career Day with Teach For Armenia

YEREVAN, Armenia – On March 22nd, the Alumni and Career Development Office (ACDO) organized a recruiting day for Teach For Armenia in the Employer’s Corner, located on the first floor of the Paramaz Avedisian Building (PAB). Teach For Armenia representatives answered questions about the application process, employment opportunities, and discussed training opportunities for prospective candidates who want to build a meaningful career and believe that every child deserves to have access to quality education.

There are schools in Armenia that have not had teachers in specific subjects for years, and 1 in 4 students in Armenia do not graduate from high school. Teach For Armenia aims to bring the best resources to the communities that need them the most, and at the same time, transform recent graduates and young professionals to become teachers with outstanding leadership skills.
